We study mesonic and baryonic correlation functions in the temporal di
rections in the vicinity of the critical temperature T similar or equa
l to T-c using the instanton liquid model, in which chiral symmetry re
storation is driven by the formation of instanton-antiinstanton molecu
les. Although we find the signals for all hadronic poles to be drastic
ally reduced, some hadronic states seem to survive the phase transitio
n, as loosely bound U(N-f) x U(N-f) chiral multiplets for mesons and p
arity doublets for baryons.
