Abstract
PTSD is not a monolithic disorder. Accordingly, effective treatments m ust offer an appropriate integration of strategies that mollify physio logical, affective, behavioral, and cognitive symptoms. This paper del ineates a relatively novel approach to treating PTSD that combines ima gery work, role-playing, and cognitive restructuring in a comprehensiv e clinical package. Assessment and treatment considerations are discus sed. Further, techniques are explicated in detail and accompanying cli nical examples are described.
