M. Laarj et al., BEHAVIOR OF SOME MANGANESE-CONTAINING FER RITES OF SPINEL STRUCTURE IN THE PRESENCE OF OXYGEN, Annales de chimie, 20(2), 1995, pp. 53-60
Behavior of some manganese-containing ferrites of spinel structure in
the presence of oxygen. The reactivity in oxygen of the iron and manga
nese ions present in submicronic spinel oxides is highly dependent of
the coordination of these ions, giving rise to distinct oxydo-reductio
n phenomena as a function of increasing temperature. These correlation
s between structure and reactivity may be used to accurately analyse t
he ion content of these oxides by means of thermogravimetric analysis.
