Abstract
Behavior patterns for the temperature dependence of column head pressu re and outlet volumetric flow-rate are analyzed for some particular co nfigurations of the chromatograph's flow control system. Quantitative prediction of this behavior, and especially its effect on gas hold up time, is evaluated. Attention is centered on the application of progra mmed-temperature gas chromatography (PTGC) retention simulation.
