Abstract
Anomalous behavior of some Ni100-xCux alloys has been investigated usi ng the open cell photoacoustic and X-ray diffraction techniques. The t hermal diffusivity, alpha, and the lattice constants, a, of five alloy s are determined. The nonlinearities of the thermal diffusivity and of the lattice constant dependence on alloy's composition are explained.
