Abstract
This Letter describes cw-CO2 laser vaporization and gas-phase condensa tion of nanophase ZnO, Eu2O3 and ZrO2 (particle diameters range from 5 -280 nm, 2-30 nm, and 1-13 nm, respectively). ZnO forms in the usual r oom-temperature crystal structure but Eu2O3 crystallizes in a metastab le monoclinic phase.
