Abstract
The polymerization of N-vinylcarbazole in the presence of the PhCH(2)( CH3)(3)N+SbF6- salt has been studied at different temperatures (293 an d 308 K) in nitrobenzene. An increase in k(p) at high [salt]/[I](0) ra tios has been observed which can be explained by the strong interactio ns of the nitrobenzene solvent with the monomer and the propagating sp ecies.
