Abstract
Corrosion-electrochemical behavior of St. 20 steel in an acidic medium (0.1 N H2SO4) inhibited with 2-mercaptobenzimidazole derivatives has been studied. Protective properties of these compounds have been inter preted in terms of specific inhibiting effects, namely, blocking, acti vation, and energy effects.
