Abstract
The title compound, [Ni(C5H10NS2)(3)](C8N5), forms a structure with sh eets consisting of alternate rows of cations and anions. The Ni atom i n the cation has distorted octahedral geometry. The planar [C-3(CN)(5) ](-) anion is significantly distorted from C-2 nu symmetry, The Ni-S d istances range from 2.246(2) to 2.257(2) Angstrom and the C-C distance s in the allyl group of the anion are 1.19(2) and 1.35(2) Angstrom.
