Abstract
The title compound, C11H16N4O3 [6-amino-1,3-dimethyl-5-(4-oxo-2 -pente n-2-yl)amino-2,4(1H,3H)pyrimidinedione], shows extensive delocalizatio n in the uracil ring. There is an intramolecular hydrogen bond [N ... O 2.713 (3) Angstrom] between an amino N--H group and an adjacent carb onyl-O atom, The molecules are linked into sheets that are parallel to the (10 (1) over bar) plane by intermolecular N--H ... O hydrogen bon ds [N ... O 2.805 (3) and 2.803 (3) Angstrom].
