Abstract
Selectivity properties are established for membrane electrodes prepare d by incorporating stannic oxide as an electroactive phase, using poly styrene as binder. The electrode possesses a high level of selectivity for vanadate over many other ions in the pH range 4-10. The assembly could also be used as an indicator electrode for the titration of vana date ions.
