Abstract
A directed motion of the strip domain structure in an ac or periodical magnetic pulse field is found to appear in a weak ferromagnetic cryst al of dysprosium orthoferrite. The drift of the domain structure is of the threshold character in the magnetic field amplitude. The dependen ces of the threshold field upon the ac field frequency and the pulse f ield duration are obtained, and the field dependence of the drift velo city is found. It is revealed that the directed motion of the domain s tructure is induced by new domains periodically formed due to the a or to the recurring magnetic pulse field.
