Abstract
The crystal structures of -1,3-propane-diylbis(nitrilopropylidyne)]dip henol, C23H30N2O2, and panediylbis[nitrilo(phenyl)-methylidyne]}diphen ol, C31H30N2O2, have been determined. The N ... O contact distances in both molecules are indicative of intramolecular hydrogen bonding. The molecular conformations are compared and shown to be very similar.
