Abstract
Fourier path integral Monte Carlo simulations are used to demonstrate that in isotopically mixed clusters mass differences can lead to a pur ely quantum analog of classical binary phase separation. A parametric multistage sampling method is developed to simulate such systems, and results are presented for the strongly quantum mechanical p-H-2/o-D-2 and the quasiclassical Ne-20/Ne-22 binary clusters.
