Two-component networks were prepared by ''ene'' reaction of azodicarbo
xylate-terminated polyolefins with cis-1,4-polyisoprene (IR), natural
rubber (NR) and cis-1,4-polybutadiene (BR). Thermal and dynamic mechan
ical Properties of the networks were investigated. The results suggest
ed that the reaction of: end-functionalized polyolefin with IR or NR w
as effective for the preparation of elastomeric hybrid networks consis
ting of their immiscible polymer pairs. In contrast, phase separation
of BR segments was observed in polyolefin-linked-BR network.
