M. Soylak et al., INVESTIGATION OF LEAD, CHROMIUM, COBALT AND MOLYBDENUM CONCENTRATIONSIN HAIR SAMPLES COLLECTED FROM DIABETIC-PATIENTS, Fresenius environmental bulletin, 4(8), 1995, pp. 485-490
Concentrations of lead, chromium, cobalt and molybdenum in the hair of
37 (15 male + 22 female) of diabetic patients were determined by grap
hite furnace atomic absorption spectrometer. The mean concentrations o
f Pb, Cr, Co and Mo was found to be 7.52 mu g/g, 0.84 mu g/g, 0.13 mu
g/g and 0.43 mu g/g respectively. No significant correlation was found
; between these metal ions concentrations.
