Abstract
Mouldness of chilled avian eggs caused by growth by various moulds on eggs and interior of eggs have been described. Moulds have been identi fied and are reported: Penicillium brevi-compactum, Rhizopus nigricans , Zygorrhynchus heterogamus, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium gr. oxysporum, Cladosporium cladosporioides and Fusarium gr. oxysporum, Cladosporium cladosporioides, Zygorrhynchus heterogamus.
