Abstract
We have shown theoretically and demonstrated with a few numerical exam ples that the dispersion relation satisfied by non-local microscopic p otentials which include Pauli-exchange terms also holds approximately for the equivalent local potentials under certain conditions on the no n-locality and the propagator. This generalizes the results of a previ ous paper by Pacheco st al where the validity of the dispersion relati on was proved under similar conditions for the propagator but in the a bsence of Pauli-exchange terms.
