Abstract
An esophageal stricture is a narrowing of the lumen due to inflammatio n or tumor. Lack of distensibility is characteristic of stricture, whi ch may be diffuse or localized and which may have abrupt or tapered ma rgins, The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the imaging features of various types of strictures, focusing on their value in differenti al diagnosis.
