Abstract
Macroscopic dynamical equations for the effective nuclear surface in t erms of the collective variables are derived within the framework of t he liquid drop model for large deformations. The inertia and friction parameters are calculated for Lorentz parametrization of nuclear shape in the case of incompressible and irrotational flow. We found a notic eable discrepancy between our results for the calculated friction tens or components related to the ''neck'' degree of freedom and those obta ined in other macroscopic models.
