A search for dust in two distant radio galaxies at 1270 mu m is presen
ted. No evidence of large masses of dust was found. The results are co
mpared to millimetric observations of other high redshift galaxies wit
h detected dust thermal emission. We find that our upper limits on the
dust masses suggest a dust content lower than in most dust rich galax
ies known at high redshift. However, they are still consistent with th
e UV scattering models of the high z radio galaxies.
