Abstract
A 3-year-old child had been born with an extensive vascular lesion tha t was clinically and histologically consistent with a port wine stain. Between the ages of six months and three years the lesion showed a re markable degree of spontaneous resolution. This degree of improvement is exceptional after the age of six months and is documented photograp hically in this report.
