Abstract
The band structure of the ordered and disordered Pd2TiAl and Pd2TiSn H eusler alloys is studied by using the LMTO and LMTO-CPA methods. The s elf-consistent spin-polarized LMTO calculations show that these system s are not magnetic and the shape of the density of states is in good a greement with the ultraviolet photoemission spectra for the Pd2TiAl al loy. Our theoretical calculations indicate the existence of a small su b-peak near E = -9 eV in the UPS spectra for Pd2TiSn.
