Abstract
We assessed the feasibility of performing uterine surgery under fluoro scopic control in an ambulatory setting that does not require operatin g room time and general anaesthesia. Four uterine septae were resected and two cases of Asherman's syndrome were treated using fluoroscopica lly guided scissors. All six surgical procedures were successfully com pleted. Gynaecoradiological uterine resection (GUR) procedures, utiliz ing fluoroscopy guided scissors, are promising new techniques, which m ay allow the successful performance of uterine surgery in a cost effec tive ambulatory setting with no requirement of general anaesthesia.
