Abstract
Two types of scintillators are described based on polyorgano-polysilox ane carbosil block co-polimers for detectors of alpha- and beta-radiat ion. It is shown that scintillators of the first type, obtained by cas ting of 2-4% solution of carbosil (in toluene, etc.) comprising p-terp henyl and a Spectrum shifting activator, have conversion efficiency wh ich, at thickness of 0.1-0.5 mm, is 2.5 times higher then that of stan dart polystyrene sample (for alpha-radiation), The second type, based on grinded crystals of p-terphenyl (size particles 0.5-1 mm) in carbos il, have scintillators efficiency 20% higher than that of anthracene s ingle crystals.
