Abstract
This paper demonstrates simultaneous two-dimensional mapping of multip le radionuclides which are present in a sample. The technique, which i s based on position sensitive beta-gamma coincidence measurement, is a pplicable to most radionuclides that decay by beta emission followed b y the emission of a coincident gamma-ray. In the present work, a Posit ion Sensitive Photomultiplier Tube [PSPMT] is used for imaging the bet a particles while a Ge detector is used to identify the radionuclides by detecting the coincident gamma-rays.
