Abstract
The effects of a linear interaction with a classical current are consi dered in a model of a q-oscillator with a continuous spectrum. It is s hown that when the value of the current is sufficiently large, the dis crete spectrum consists of a finite number of levels with infinite mul tiplicity. This should be contrasted with the small-current situation when bound states are not degenerate at all.
