Abstract
Langmuir-Blodgett experiments are carried out on a new class of non-sy mmetric amphiphilic azaporphyrins; in-plane orientation of the macrocy cles is obtained when nickel(II) acetate salts are introduced into the subphase to complex the polar 1,2,4-triazole subunit.
