Abstract
Legionella pericarditis is a rare and serious manifestation of Legionn aire's disease. A case is presented in which the diagnosis was establi shed by direct fluorescent antibody staining on a pericardial tissue s pecimen. Video-assisted thoracoscopy was used safely and effectively i n diagnosis and management in this case.
