Abstract
Zinc-cobalt alloys have been electrodeposited from the alkaline zincat e bath and the passivation of the alloys was also investigated. The co balt content of the bath, additives, stabilizer, current density and t emperature all effect the cobalt of the alloy deposit. Bright and smoo th Zn-Co alloy deposits were obtained with the cobalt content ranging between 0.6-0.8%. The Zn-Co coating properties were found to be superi or to those of zinc deposits.
