Relaxation behaviour of fine particle magnetic systems has been a subj
ect of interest since a long time. Recent reports, on the dependence o
f blocking temperature on measuring time, concentration and external m
agnetic field, have evoked greater interest in the field. These observ
ations show some interesting analogies with spin glasses and have also
been reasonably explained in Neel's model incorporating inter-particl
e magnetic dipolar interactions. A brief review is presented on develo
pments in the subject.
