Abstract
Enthalpies of crystallization of NH4Al(SO4)(2) . 12H(2)O from aqueous solutions at 25 degrees C, measured using a calorimetric method and de termined from previously published data on the concentration dependenc e of the enthalpy of solution, are reported. The results are compared with the values obtained from the temperature dependence of solubility and from vapor pressure data by using the Williamson equation. The in tegral and partial molar enthalpies of solution in concentrated and di luted solutions are given.
