Abstract
The one-loop vacuum polarization in the presence of a background magne tic field is computed in (2 + 1)-dimensional electrodynamics in which the spinor mass is parity violating. The quantum-mechanical path-integ ral technique is used to compute matrix elements arising in the contex t operator regularization.
