Abstract
Based on the demands on a light measurement system for forest ecologic al research, the construction and function of a self-developed instrum ent is described. It is characterized with a spectral sensitivity adju sted to the photosynthetic effectiveness of plants (Fig. 1). The compa ct and low energy demanding instrument makes direct readings possible as well as integrating registration of data (Fig. 3). The methodical p roceeding to determine the relative light intensity is presented.
