Sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy (SHML) - Rosai-Dorfma
n disease - is a rare but well-defined benign histiocytic proliferativ
e disorder. We report an unusual patient, cured of non-Hodgkin's lymph
oma, who presented 12 years later with renotesticular SHML associated
with IgA monoclonal gammopathy, but without any evidence of relapsed l
ymphoma. The genitourinary manifestations of this disorder with massiv
e lymphadenopathy and its rare association with malignant lymphoma are
reviewed.
