Abstract
Stark shifts of four HeI and six ArI spectral lines have been measured in a linear pulsed are plasma, superimposed to the glow discharge pos itive column plasma in helium and argon-helium mixture, respectively. The measured values were compared to the existing data calculated, acc ording to the various theoretical approaches.
