Abstract
We report observation of positively charged excitons (X(+)) in GaAs qu antum wells remotely doped with accepters. Upon reducing the excess ho le density, by photoexciting carriers in the doped barrier layer, we o bserve the neutral excitonic transition strengthen relative to X(+). F urther confirmation of the X(+) assignment is provided by its temperat ure and magnetic-field dependence. We observe both the antisymmetric ( singlet) and symmetric (triplet) X(+) spin states.
