Primary sclerosing cholangitis is rare among Chinese. We report on a 7 1 year old male patient who presented with clinical features consisten t with the disorder. Subsequent investigations confirmed the diagnosis . The patient was found to have anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies with specificity against proteinase 3. Treatment with ursodeoxycholic acid resulted in clinical remission and disappearance of the antibodi es.
