Abstract
Two of the major issues discussed at the workshop on thermodynamics of photochemical solar energy conversion are summarized here: (1) the ef fect of hot carrier processes on the thermodynamics of solar photon co nversion; (2) the existence of a light-intensity threshold for photoco nversion processes and the validity of quasi-Fermi levels.
