Writings made with the unaccustomed hand are generally characterised b
y such abnormal traits as uncoordinated strokes, and lack of rhythm in
the writing line, with heavy pen pressure. This paper studies these f
eatures in comparison with the normal writing of the same person, in t
wo cases in which the normal and unaccustomed writing occurred on the
same document, and shows how they may be used to indicate the authorsh
ip of questioned writing.
