TIME FOR CREATIVE INTEGRATION IN MEDICAL SOCIOLOGY

The burgeoning of medical sociology has sometimes been accompanied by unfortunate parochialism and the presence of opposing intellectual cam ps that ignore and even impugn each other's work. We have lost opportu nities to achieve creative discourse and integration of different pers pectives, methods, and findings. At this stage we should consider how we can foster creative integration within our field.
