Abstract
A flow injection configuration for the spectrofluorimetric determinati on of oxalate is proposed. The procedure is based on the enhancing eff ect of oxalate on the oxidation of Rhodamine B by dichromate. The prop osed method is simple, inexpensive, sensitive and suitable for concent rations of oxalate between 1.76 and 88 mu g ml(-1). The applicability of the method was demonstrated by the determination of oxalate in food and urine Samples.
