Abstract
The crystals of the title compound are composed of polymeric bands bui lt up from triaqua(oxydiacetato-O,O',O'')europium(II) units, and water of crystallization. The europium cation is surrounded by six oxydiace tate oxygen atoms and three water molecules. The distances metal-oxyge n are generally longer than those observed in Eu(III) carboxylates.
