CHEMILUMINESCENT CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME PLASMA COMPONENTS IN THE PRESENCE OF EU(III) IONS

Chemiluminescence (CL) of systems containing Eu(III) ions, a biologica lly active factor (creatinine or creatine or urea or organic acids) an d H2O2 has been investigated. The CL kinetic curves and spectral distr ibution of the relevant spectra have been obtained and the light sum h as been calculated for all the systems. These parameters, often charac teristic for particular systems, have been related to the stability of the complexes formed by Eu(III) ions with the investigated substances . The complexing ability of particular ligands has been checked by mea ns of luminescence (classical and with laser excitation) methods.
