Abstract
An efficient and inexpensive electronic system to submit surgical path ology cases in consultation via the Internet is presented. A transcont inental pilot study showed a high degree of concordance between the di agnosis provided by the consultant on the basis of the pathology image s and that given after examining the corresponding microscopic slides.
