Abstract
In this article a beta-lactam-steroid product 4 containing a steroid a nd a beta-lactam unit is described. Product 4 is easily produced in on e step by the means of Ugi reactions. A medium scale high yield proced ure for the synthesis of dehydrocholic aldehyde is described.
