Abstract
The structure of bulk disordered Zn41Sb59 was studied by transmission electron microscopy. The alloy under investigation was prepared by sol id-state transformation of the quenched high-pressure phase during hea ting at atmospheric pressure. The structure was shown to be amorphous. The heating of the sample by the electron beam resulted in instantane ous crystallization with the formation of ZnSb grains.
