Different kinetic treatments, where irradiation effects and diffusion
are implemented at the atomistic scale, are available so as to follow
diffusion-controlled evolutions in alloys, i,e. over long time scales.
Here we review these treatments, and illustrate their use for various
situations, e.g. modifications of order-disorder transitions, stabili
ty of ordered precipitates under irradiation, or segregation at surfac
es in concentrated alloys.
