S. Ambe et F. Ambe, MOSSBAUER EMISSION-SPECTRA OF SN-119 IN BINARY COMPOUNDS OF ANTIMONY AND TELLURIUM, Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan, 68(7), 1995, pp. 1935-1940
The Mossbauer emission spectra of defect Sn-119 atoms arising from Sb-
119 and Te-119m were measured in GaSb, InSb, In2Te3, ZnSb, CdSb, CdTe,
and Ag2Te. The lattice sites of defect Sn-119 atoms in these binary c
ompounds were determined on the basis of the obtained Mossbauer parame
ters and the recoil energy associated with EC decays of the source nuc
lides. Together with the results of previous studies, the isomer shift
s of both defect and normal Sn-119 were shown to correlate with the el
ectronegativitity of ligands in binary compounds of the main-group ele
ments, such as Sn, Sb, and Te.
