DERIVATIVE UV-SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF BINARY-MIXTURES OF PROCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE WITH BENZOIC-ACID, PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE AND4-AMINOBENZOIC ACID, FROM PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS
M. Surmeian et al., DERIVATIVE UV-SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF BINARY-MIXTURES OF PROCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE WITH BENZOIC-ACID, PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE AND4-AMINOBENZOIC ACID, FROM PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS, Revue Roumaine de Chimie, 40(2), 1995, pp. 111-117
The UV-derivative spectrophotometric method, the zero-crossing techniq
ue, was used for simultaneous determination of binary mixtures of proc
aine hydrochloride with: benzoic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride and 4-
aminobenzoic acid. The results obtained for 4-aminobenzoic acid, produ
ced by thermal degradation of procaine hydrochloride from Gerovital H-
3(R) - ampoules, were compared with those obtained by UV-densitometric
measurement after thin layer chromatographic separation.
